It was absolutely brilliant. It may be because the rooms are all recently refurbished. It was all at high standards with good interior decoration. I have to mention the shower room, it was best 👌. The breakfast was fantastic with good options for veg and non veg. Love it.

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Wigston in Leicester and had an exceptional experience, largely thanks to the outstanding service provided by Harpit. Comfortable and good value for money
The room was comfortable with good facilities. Bed comfortable, TV worked no problem, fridge provided, desk to work on. The bathroom was good too. It looked like it had been refurbished recently. I particularly liked the shower controls. They looked new and were an easy on/off button for bath or shower option and located in a very accessible place away from the taps. I could turn on the shower and set the temperature before getting in. As a lone woman I felt safe and there was a 24 hour reception.
Fantastic staff, very clean, rooms needs updating, but excellent value for money
There was an issue with our booking as I think hotel was overbooked but we eventually had 3 rooms (although we ended up with 1 double with sofa bed and 2 twin rooms rather than 2 doubles with sofa beds and 1 twin but we just wanted to check in by this point and there was an issue with the room cards but this was sorted.) The reception staff tried their best to sort things out. There was a wedding there which seems to be a regular thing, as there was a separate large room and a large notice about weddings at the hotel. We thought noise would be an issue but we didn't hear anything from the party or from people going to their rooms after. In fact the room was next to the restaurant but we didn't hear any noise at all. ...
Felt homely and comfortable
Room was very clean and comfortable, staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Hotel we will always come back to whenever visiting Leicester.
Highly recommend
Had a fabulous stay at this holiday Inn for my nephews graduation. The room was very clean with beautiful furniture and the comfiest bed. Breakfast was a buffet style and was delicious. We ate in the hotel one evening and there was a large selection of food which was also delicious. A massive thankyou to Karan who helped with absolutely everything, from taxis, a congratulations on your graduation card for my nephew, taking pictures for us and anything to do with our stay. Everything was 5 * and if I ever visit Leicester I will be staying here. The service at this hotel from Karan was phenomenal.
