Trip to Leicester
Comfortable with good food. Slightly spoilt by rowdy guests on one night but that isn't the hotel's fault.
relaxing and enjoyable short stay
I was impressed from when I walked in. Beautiful clean, spacious room with a lovely seating area, very pleased it had an iron and board, tea/coffee/biscuits etc. Everything was spotless and breakfast was very good. I didn’t give full * as the water was hardly beyond hand hot and I like really hot water and, only one coat hanger???? Otherwise perfect. The staff, from reception to restaurant, were extremely obliging. I was concerned when I saw Bella Italia but definitely no need. Tad pricey but it is good. would certainly recommend and stay again.
Very Good
Everything you’d expect from a Holiday Inn; decent, clean room with good facilities. Breakfast was fantastic and staff friendly. There is a big car park, so plenty of spaces available.

My wife and I met as students at Leicester University in the late 60's and were married in the city in July 1970. Sadly, in spite of many intentions to re-visit, it has taken us until Sep 2022 to return as visitors. We chose this hotel, knowing it to be not in the city centre but assuming it would be easy to find and use as a base to re-visit old haunts. And so it proved. We were able to check-in at 2 pm to find a very comfortable and spacious room with large double bed, a welcome desk and chair and a small couch for TV viewing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a bounteous buffet at a very reasonable £ 10 per head, beautifully presented in the large dining area. ...
