A lovely hotel with great staff who went extra mile to assist. Lovely room clean and everything worked. Breakfast was also top draw. All In all will stay again when next in the area.

"I do not normally make the effort to write a review of a hotel. I felt obliged to do so on this occasion due to the excellent customer service of the staff. I made the original reservation through a third party booking service a few days before travel. My trip to Leicester was to play in a Tennis Tournament. I had intended to travel down and stay over the night before my match. A couple of days prior to my travel I was notified by the Tournament that my match was scheduled much later in the day than I had expected. I attempted to swap my booking to the following day and spoke to several Reception staff by phone. Emma, Bianca and Shezad were all extremely helpful in arranging this to happen, despite the complication of booking through a Third Party Site. They demonstrated excellent customer service and patience. The room was exceptionally clean with a modern design. The bed and pillows were among the most comfortable I have slept in. Perfect to relax and recover from a tiring day's Tennis competition. The excellent friendly Service continued in the Restaurant/Bar with Cameron. Who was polite, attentive and recommended the Sea Bass and Chocolate Orange Cake. Which were both delicious. I would definitely stay again and would highly recommend."

The breakfast had the best choice of food from many hotels that we have stayed at. My wife always has a continental breakfast and there was a wide selection, with plenty of fruit.
The location was ideal for us when visiting friends who live locally, but the park, adjacent to the hotel was a wonderful surprise.
We enjoyed our stay and would have liked to stay longer, but I had to be back home for a hospital appointment. All very good"
